Una performance completamente nuova concepita
per catapultare lo spettatore in un mondo dove i
confini tra reale e virtuale si fondono. Un sogno ad
occhi aperti che intreccia danza, teatro e illusione, nel
quale la realtà è ribaltata, manipolata e resa virtuale.
Mr & Mrs Dream si ispira alle opere di Eugène
Ionesco, tra i massimi esponenti del teatro
dell’assurdo, che nei suoi lavori ha usato la comicità
paradossale e il nonsense per mettere in scena
Théâtre du Corps Pietragalla-Derouault l’angoscia e l’irrazionalità della condizione umana. Ma
Mr & Mrs Dream la particolarità e unicità dello spettacolo è una
scenografia onirica e allo stesso tempo
estremamente tecnologica che permette ai due
ballerini non solo di danzare all’interno di essa, ma
coreografia e allestimento / choreography and anche di interagire con le immagini e le visualizzazioni
staging by Marie-Claude Pietragalla e Julien che appaiono sul palcoscenico.

A completely new performance which catapults the
audience into a world where the confines between the
real and the virtual are blurred. A daydream which
weaves together dance, theatre and illusion, in which
reality is turned upside-down, manipulated and made
virtual. Mr & Mrs Dream draws inspiration from the
works of Eugène Ionesco, one of the most important
figures in the theatre of the absurd, who in his works
used paradoxical comedy and nonsense to represent
the anguish and the irrationality of the human
condition. What renders the show so particular and
unique is the use of a set which is both dreamlike and
extremely technological, allowing the two dancers not
only to dance within the scenery, but also to interact
with the images and the visualizations which appear
on the stage.
